Cinco de Miler Race Details
Join us for the Cinco de Miler 5-Mile Run on May 8th, 2027 at 8:30 AM, and experience a festive race through Chicago’s streets, finishing under a giant 3-story piñata! Celebrate with delicious food, drinks, and live mariachi music at our post-race fiesta.
The 5-Mile Course
Our NEW USATF-certified 5-mile course runs through the streets of Chicago. With skyline views peeking through and the towering 3-story pinata finish line arch in your view, you’ll wrap things up at the finish line where the beats are loud and the vibes are high.

5 Mile Start time: 8:30 AM.

Packet Pick-Up
Date:: Thursday, May 6th – 2:00 PM- 6:00 PM
Friday, May 7th – 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Parking: Complimentary parking is available for up to 2 hours with validation available at Fleet Feet South Loop. This location is also accessible via the CTA. Red/Blue/Orange and Green Lines stop at Roosevelt, just a few blocks away from your packet pickup location.
There is NO race day packet pick-up.
Packet Mailing
Save time on packet pickup by adding on packet mailing at registration! Already registered? Don’t worry! You can add it on through your EnMotive account by following these instructions.
The deadline to add packet mailing to your registration is April 24, 2027 at 11:59 PM CST. Please note, we are unable to mail out packets after the packet mailing deadline has passed.
Awards
Get ready to make your mark, runners! This year, the prize purse is back for some exciting awards and prizes. Overall awards will be given to the top three male and female and will receive:
1st Place:

Age Groups
Age group awards will be given to the top three male and female winners in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 –79, 80-84, 85+.
Post Race Party
After you cross the finish line under the giant piñata, celebrate your accomplishment at the Cinco de Miler Cantina! Refuel with festive treats, one complimentary beer or Mexican Mule (21+), lawn games and more. Plus, we’ll have a live mariachi band playing for the ultimate Cinco de Mayo celebration!
Participants 21 years and older can purchase extra beer/mule tickets during the registration process. No additional tickets will be sold on race day.
